Gujarat Board HSC, SSC Exams 2026: GSEB Releases Timetable for Class 10 and 12
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar, has finalised the schedule for the 2026 board exams for both Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC). The exams will run from February 26 to March 16, 2026, covering all streams and major subjects.
How the Exams Will Be Conducted
This time, GSEB has kept two separate shifts for the board papers:
• Class 10 (SSC) exams will take place in the morning, from 10 am to 1:15 pm.
• Class 12 (HSC) exams for Science and General streams will be held in the afternoon, from 3 pm to 6:15 pm.
The board has asked all schools to ensure proper seating, supervision, and security throughout the exam period.

Every HSC paper will have two sections:
• Part A: 50 MCQs (50 marks)
• Part B: Descriptive section (50 marks)

The Class 10 papers will follow the morning session from 10 am to 1:15 pm. Each subject (other than vocational courses) carries 80 marks.
